Toll strengthens Santos ties

Toll Group has signed multiple contracts with oil and gas giant Santos, with resulting revenue worth $275 million over five years
Leading transport and logistics provider Toll Group is continuing its ongoing relationship with oil and gas producer Santos, having recently signed contracts involving linehaul, infield and national freight support.
The deals, which amount to forecast revenue of $275 million over five years, will see Toll assisting Santos across a number of its Australian operations, from the Cooper Basin and Mereenie gas fields in central Australia, to linehaul work in north-western Western Australia and support for Santos’s Gladstone Liquefied Natural Gas (GLNG) project in Queensland.
David Jackson, CEO for Toll Global Resources, said the contracts underlined the strength of Toll’s ongoing relationship with one of Australia’s largest independent oil and gas companies.
“The Santos contracts confirm Toll Energy as the leading provider of logistics support to Australia’s oil and gas industry, and extend a successful relationship that began in 2007,” he said.
“It shows quality logistics support for remote and difficult locations is possible, and it should encourage other companies to invest in operations in central Australia.
“We look forward to providing critical support as Santos continues to expand its Australian operations,” he added.

The news follows from recent major Toll Group deals with INPEX and Shell.
