Top Isuzu dealer lauded
Ballarat Isuzu claims truck brand's 'National Dealer of the Year' titleBallarat Isuzu has taken out Isuzu Australia Limited's most prestigious award, the business handed the title of IAL National Dealer of the Year at a ceremony in Sydney recently.
Dealer Principal at Ballarat Isuzu, Ian Deacon, said there were no secrets behind the dealership's success.
"It's just a lot of hard work," he said.
"It's just making sure that if something needs to be done, then it's done, and done in a timely manner.
"We're all focussed on the one thing, which is making sure our customers are happy. There's nothing big or overly exciting that is involved in that, it's just making sure every little touchpoint the customer has is covered well."
Ballarat Isuzu triumphed despite tough competition from Gold Coast Isuzu and reigning back-to-back winner, Townsville's Tony Ireland Isuzu.
The evaluation criteria included areas such as presentation standards, customer care, training attendance, inventory management and activity-based KPI measurements.
Other award recipients include Webster Trucks in Tasmania (Best Sales Dealer), Suttons Motors Arncliffe (Best Service Dealer) and Peel Valley Isuzu in Tamworth (Best Parts Dealer).
