TR Group expands in Sydney

TR Group has announced the opening of the next branch in its network, situated at 5 Montore Road, Minto, in Sydney

With over 15,000sqm of yard space and a well-appointed branch office, TR Group says the new site is nicely aligned with its national expansion strategy.

The addition of this new depot is TR Group’s sixth branch in Australia – adding to its existing presence in Adelaide, Melbourne, Brisbane, Newcastle, and Perth.

New Sydney branch manager Jamal Stent said at the announcement: “I’ve been part of the TR team for a few years now and jumped at the chance to lead the new Sydney branch.

"It’s a great opportunity and I’m really looking forward to getting out and meeting new and existing customers to introduce them to the gear we have and the service that we offer.

We’ve got a great selection of trucks and trailers available at the branch across a wide range of industry segments that I think customers will love,” he added.

Opening a branch in Sydney has been a long-held ambition since starting in Australia in 2019 and will allow TR Group to better service operators in Sydney and the surrounding areas.

This is the second TR Group branch in New South Wales, alongside the existing Newcastle branch.

The new premises in Minto offers short or long-term hire of heavy-duty trucks and trailers including fully-permitted PBS combinations

“We’re excited to add our sixth location in our growing national branch network," said TR Group's Australia General Manager, Peter Irwin. "This provides us with a wider scope for servicing the greater Sydney area, and with the existing Newcastle branch, better servicing of the New South Wales region.

"This is taking us one step closer to providing nationwide rental and lease services for our customers,” he said.

TR Group is a heavy commercial vehicle rental and lease partner with a fleet of over 8500 trucks and trailers across Australia and New Zealand.

For over 30 years, the company has focused on understanding which vehicles customers require, providing them with heavy commercial vehicle solutions to support the performance of their business.
