Truck Week 2026 preparations are in full swing, with a full line-up of industry, operator and locally run events taking shape for the nationwide week-long celebrations running May 11-18.
Held annually Truck Week is an initiative coordinated by Heavy Vehicle Industry Australia (HVIA) in collaboration with national and state-based industry associations and the wider heavy vehicle community.

While there's no major Brisbane show this year, a focal point will be TruckShowX 2026 which runs May 18-19 at the Rydges Hunter Valley resort in regional New South Wales.
The two-day program is shaping up as a 'must-see' gathering for all the latest industry intel, and includes an expo showcasing technology, equipment, and services across a range of new areas, as well as a unique ‘Drive Day’ opportunity to get behind the wheel of the latest truck models and for the first time, a trailer display.

Held this year on May 12, the R U OK? In Trucks & Sheds Day of Action aims to encourage businesses to organise a workplace event to help employees and contractors feel more connected and supported.
A Healthy Heads Event kit is available on the Truck Week 26 website to help plan workplace activities and build confidence in starting an R U OK? conversation.

Other significant Truck Week activities include a Bulk Tanker Day at Melbourne's Flemington Racecourse on May 13, and the 2026 Heritage Truck Show at Queensland's Rocklea Showgrounds on May 16, with a big display of heritage cars, trucks and tractors expected.
There's still time to register an event for Truck Week 26, or head to the official website for all the latest updates...
