Trucking Australia 24: It's on!

The Australian Trucking Association’s annual Trucking Australia event is being held this year at Canberra’s National Convention Centre over the nest two days and trucksales.com.au is already in position to report on the highlights

The Trucking Australia 24 program includes 28 information presentations, Q&A sessions and social events that allow delegates to learn, exchange ideas and liaise with politicians and government officials.

With some 400 delegates registered to attend, the event was sold out well in advance of opening day.

Unfortunately, some of the sessions will run concurrently, so we’ll do our best to cover what we reckon are the most significant road transport topics.

The April 18 and 19 sessions will open with addresses by the minister for infrastructure, transport, regional development and local government, Catherine King, and by the opposition shadow minister, Bridget McKenzie.

The next speaker on April 18 will be award-winning speaker, business strategist and trend forecaster, Michael McQueen. He has helped many of the world's best-known brands maintain relevance and is the author of five best-selling books. Michael will relay some proven and practical strategies for staying one step ahead of change.

Everything is ready for the doors to open at Trucking Australia 24

Our following session choices are empowering business: The synergy between cutting-edge technology and sustainability; fixing truck driver licensing; delivering land transport reform; getting ready for new road transport minimum standards and the future of road user charges.

On April 19 we’ll cover greater inclusion in the workplace; an NHVR progress report; the latest truck crash research; railway crossing issues and conclude with ATA member associations reports.

We’ll run reports on these presentations over coming days, so stay tuned.
