Victorian Truck Drivers Memorial nominations close soon

March 26 is the closing date for names to be included at this year’s Victorian Truck Drivers Memorial Service

The 2018 Victorian Truck Drivers Memorial Service will take place on Saturday, June 9 at Rotary Park, Alexandra, starting at 2pm. Now in its fifth year, the memorial service honours and remembers the pioneers, mates and family from Victroia.

The service is an important feature of the annual Alexandra Truck, Ute and Rod Show, held each Queen’s Birthday weekend.

The memorial’s existence is due to the help of a number of supporters, including Creative Ministries Network (CMN). CMN is based in Melbourne and is an agency of Uniting Care – Victoria and Tasmania.

For those wishing to add the names of loved ones to the wall before this year’s June 9 service, applications close on March 26.
