Video: Caravan jackknifes in front of truck
Dramatic dashcam footage as a caravanner pulls out on a truck on the Bruce HwyQueensland's Bruce Highway has again been the scene of a dramatic caravan-related incident, with nail-biting video footage emerging of a near-miss between a caravanner and truckie along the notorious bitumen road.
The incident occurred along a dual-lane section near Tiaro, with the truckie attempting to pass in the right lane before the Toyota ute and large caravan appeared to speed up and veer into the overtaking lane, before jack-knifing and coming to a stop in front of the truck.
The entire sequence was recorded on dash cam, with the irate truckie referring to the driver of the tow vehicle as an "idiot" for not giving way to the passing truck.
"You were doing 90(km/h) then you sped up to 100 right on the overtaking lane," he said.
The video posted on social media has gone viral, with more than 190,000 views in three days.
