Scania's recently-released 770hp V8 is the company's most powerful engine to date so the company decided to take it on a comparison test with its V8 brother, the 730, on one of Sweden's most notorious motorway hills.
The hill is called the Hallandsåsen and it notorious in southern Sweden for being hard on trucks.
Both trucks were loaded to 64 tonnes and headed for a drag race up the hill to see not only the difference in power, but also the difference in fuel economy.
The results apparently surprised everyone, including the drivers.
We don't have the 770 V8 here as yet and Scania is being tight-lipped about when it's coming, but rest assured it will be here, and when we get it, it's sure to be a hit.
