Volvo Commercial Vehicles (VCV) has bolstered its dealer ranks with the addition of a new state-of-the-art facility in Blacktown, in Sydney's western suburbs.
Known as VCV Sydney West, the new dealership was officially opened on Saturday, August 30, with Volvo Group Australia President Peter Voorhoeve (pictured, left), Dealer Principal Greg Sargeant (centre) and Blacktown City Council Mayor Len Robinson (right) in attendance.
The new outlet offers sales and support for Volvo, Mack and UD trucks and is equipped with the latest repair, servicing and diagnostic equipment, while also offering brake testing and roadworthy services.
According to Mr Voorhoeve, the opening of VCV Sydney West will significantly reinforce its service offering on Australia's east coast.
"We have invested heavily in creating a one-stop shop for Mack, UD and Volvo truck owners," he said.
"The development of brand-new dealerships demonstrates our commitment to providing quality service in convenient locations for our customers."
Dealer Principal Greg Sargeant said VCV Sydney West's service department will be working around the clock to keep operators' trucks rolling.
"The dealership will operate 24 hours a day to minimise vehicle downtime and allow owners to get their trucks back on the road quickly," he said.
"Safety and maintenance are imperative for highway or vocational-use vehicles – our expert team will help customers to get the most from their fleet."
Located at 9 Oatley Close, Blacktown, the addition of VCV Sydney West brings the total number of Sydney Volvo Group Australia dealerships to three – VCV Sydney is located in Chullora and VCV Chipping Norton is located in the suburb of the same name.
