Volvo Group honours dealers at Awards Night

The entire dealer network of Volvo Group Australia met recently for the annual Awards Night at a gala evening in Queensland

Volvo Group Australia recently held its first face-to-face dealer awards in three years, hosting an awards night during the 2022 Volvo Group Australia (VGA) Dealer Conference.

Volvo said in a media release that the awards recognise excellence in key areas of both the customer journey and employee engagement.

Metropolitan dealer of the year was awarded to Volvo Commercial Vehicles (VCV) Brisbane South, while Regional Dealer of the year was bestowed upon Truck Centre WA Geraldton.

The Health Safety and Wellbeing Awards were taken out by Western Truck Group (WTG) in the regional category, while the metro winner was Truck Centre WA.

Volvo Bus Dealer of the Year was awarded to CMV Derrimut while WTG Rockhampton was recognised for outstanding customer service.

Volvo Financial Services dealer of the year was presented to VCV Brisbane. “The calibre of our dealer network is second to none in this country,” said Richard Singer, Vice President, Services and Retail Development – Volvo Group Australia.

“Our customers tell us that our dealers, workshops and service agents consistently go above and beyond to get them on the road and keep them there,” Mr Singer added. “These awards allow us to recognise and thank those dealers and their committed staff for their efforts.”

“While having a dealer and service network that encompasses to whole country is vitally important to our customers, it is the people that make up that network that really make our business what it is today.”
