West welcomes International ProStar
Perth dealer AV Trucks celebrates the arrival of International's ProStar with open day this weekendAV Trucks, the only official full line Iveco truck dealership for the greater Perth region, is celebrating the return of International to Australian roads with an open day on Saturday, October 28.
A number of International ProStar models will be on display, allowing the general public to get up close to the new model range. There will also be test drive opportunities available allowing prospective customers to experience the trucks first hand.
The Dealership will also display a large selection of Iveco truck models spanning the passenger-car-licence Daily van and cab/chassis range, through to the heavy-duty Powerstar and Stralis models. Also on show will be the recently released E6 Eurocargo, winner of the 2016 International Truck of the Year award.
The open day will also feature prize giveaways including an Engel fridge/freezer valued at almost $1400, while a BBQ will keep attendees well fed.
AV Trucks has been a truck dealership for over 35 years now and is a family-owned operation headed up by Dealer Principal, Carlo Franzone.
"We've been working hard in recent years to further increase the quality of our service to customers across all areas of the business," Carlo said.
"Presently we're renovating our spare parts facilities and we've doubled the size of our parts warehouse to over 3000 square metres; this provides us with a greater stock holding to minimise vehicle downtime for our customers."
AV Trucks also says it's invested heavily in its workshop facilities, which boast the latest computer diagnostics and tooling.
"The dealership is in the process of adding a further nine heavy vehicle technicians to the team, which will bolster our workshop personnel to over 30 people," said Carlo.
AV Trucks is located at 485 Great Eastern Highway, Redcliffe, in north-east Perth.
