Western Star Show ’n Shine travels to Toowoomba
Following the success of last year’s event, Toowoomba Showgrounds will come alive in NovemberPenske Commercial Vehicles will be hosting the 2018 Western Star Trucks Show ’n Shine at the Toowoomba Showgrounds on Saturday, November 17.
Organisers say the event is an opportunity for Western Star enthusiasts to display their machinery while enjoying a fun day out with family and friends.
The 2017 event, which saw KS Easter’s highly customised 200th truck take out both the ‘Truck of the Show’ and the ‘Best Western Star under five years’ awards, was hugely successful with a great array of trucks, past and present.
The 2018 event will again feature a host of prizes across several categories.
“Last year’s Show ’n Shine was very successful,” said Kevin Dennis, managing director of Penske Commercial Vehicles. “We had a host of passionate Western Star owners on the day displaying their much-adored equipment and keen to meet with their fellow enthusiasts.”
“We are confident that the 2018 event will be even better than last year, with fun activities for the whole family,” Mr Dennis added.
The event will again include a meet and greet with DJR Team Penske drivers, Fabian Coulthard and Scott McLaughlin.
