In a press release this week, Isuzu has said that Mr Ciantar moves into the role after serving in a Fleet Planning and Support role within the company, where he handled client relations as well as supplier and account management.
Mr Ciantar said he was thrilled to be taking on the position.
“I’m absolutely rapt with this role,” Mr Ciantar said.
“Since taking it up in June I’ve already had the chance to interact with several prominent fleet managers in Victoria and Tasmania and to discuss what they’re looking for from a truck brand.
The new role marks the latest advancement in Mr Ciantar’s nine-year career with IAL.
“Having been with IAL since 2008, I’ve developed a strong understanding of what models can deliver the best results in specific applications.
IAL National Sales Manager, Les Spaltman, said he was pleased someone as capable as Mr Ciantar could take on the role.
“Daniel’s enthusiasm for the Isuzu brand, as well as his incredible product knowledge, will be tremendous assets as he takes on this regional Fleet Sales Manager role,” Mr Spaltman said.
“Daniel has demonstrated a commitment to relationship building that will stand him in good stead in this new position.”
Mr Ciantar said he is focused on helping the market leader develop even stronger links with businesses.
“I’m going to be working hard in Victoria and Tasmania to cement productive working relationships throughout the industry that won’t just pay dividends in 2017, but will yield beneficial results for many years to come,” he said.
