Completing the tech circle at the light end of the line-up, the addition of the MyIsuzu Co-Pilot Multimedia Unit to the N Series complements the safety technology roll-out of Isuzu’s Advanced Driver Assistance System or ADAS.
The announcement comes off the back of record-breaking light-duty sales results, with both June and July 2022 seeing successive monthly all-time records fall for the Isuzu brand.
Simon Humphries, Isuzu Australia Limited (IAL) Chief Engineer, Product Strategy, said the addition of the MyIsuzu Co-Pilot unit to the N Series range means a safer and substantially more enhanced experience for operators across the board.
“Isuzu’s new large format touch screen AV unit is all about user experience, with the interface exclusive to Isuzu Trucks,” Mr Humphries noted.
“By adding this layer of user engagement, combined with the convenience of smartphone mirroring integration for both Apple iOS and Android handheld devices, to an already well-equipped package, we’re leaving nothing to chance when it comes to providing a highly functional and effective overall experience to the country’s most popular truck range.
“We know the events of the last couple of years have forced businesses to do a lot more with less. And as many Aussie companies are experiencing too, this extends to the labour market and the retention of skilled workers.”
Mr Humphries went on to say that as the features and benefits of the new MyIsuzu Co-Pilot demonstrate, the standard N Series cabin has become safer and a better connected and more comfortable place to work.
“For those spending their days behind the wheel, in and out of the cabin for last mile transport duties or in the pursuit of service and support delivery, our N Series cabins, equipped with the MyIsuzu Co-Pilot, are simply a more agreeable place to operate from,” Mr Humphries said.

• AM/FM/DAB+ radio, with the ability to access internet radio applications via smartphone connection
• Two USB ports with USB3.0 for system connection and charging
• A large smartphone storage pocket with optional wireless charging function (available at extra cost)
• Wi-Fi connectivity

“In 2021 we upped the ante significantly with the release of our safest truck ever.” Said Mr Humphries. “This year, the addition of the MyIsuzu Co-Pilot helps to lock in the confidence of Australian businesses who are reliant on road transport.
“We all want safer, better connected and more comfortable workspaces for Australian truck drivers, and we believe we’ve gone a long way to achieving that with this upgrade,” he concluded.
