Based on the MY24.5 Ranger XL Double Pick-Up 2.0L Bi-Turbo 4x4, the Ranger Black Edition is designed for retail and small business customers who are seeking a value-for-money truck that looks the goods.
The limited edition model brings black stylish exterior design enhancements and added value content above and beyond the standard Ranger XL with a planned 1500 units available for Australian customers.
The Ranger Black Edition gains a black long-legged sports bar as well as a drop-in bedliner with 12V socket and in-built cargo management system in the tray, amping up both the style and practicality of the popular workhorse.
Further visual differentiators from a regular Ranger XL are unique 17-inch Asphalt Black alloy wheels, wrapped with all-terrain tyres. All Black Editions also feature black side steps, and unique Asphalt Black mesh grill with Bolder Grey inserts as standard.
“The Ranger Black Edition is perfect for customers who need a ute with all the capability to get the job done during the week, and the features that make it easy to fill their weekends with adventure,” said Andrew Birkic, President and CEO, Ford Australia.
“With the Ranger Black Edition, Ford is proud to be able to add extra value to Australia’s favourite vehicle.”
The Ranger Black Edition has a recommended manufacturer list price (MLP) of $56,680 (incl. GST). Further improving its value position, when fitted with Arctic White paint it is also available with a drive-away offer price of $57,990 (incl. GST).
The options list includes a towing pack for $1900, a manual roller shutter for $3000 and a paint upgrade to Prestige level for $700. Customers can also have the auto start/stop deleted for no charge.
