
Following on from Australia's semi-final win in Scania's Top Team global workshop contest, New Zealand's Team Christchurch has clinched the last regional final in Guangzhou, China.
Scania Top Team sees teams from over 1600 Scania workshops around the globe battle it out in a supreme test of technical knowledge and expertise. Teams go up against each other and the clock in an effort to take top honours on a world stage.
"We came as a team and the next step is to do really well in the world final," said Darren O'Connor, coach for Team Christchurch.
New Zealand defeated runner-up Singapore in the last regional final (both teams pictured), with the two countries now joining teams from Australia, China, Argentina, Brazil, Denmark, Switzerland, Sweden and Austria in the grand final, which will be head at Scania's headquarters in Sodertalje, Sweden, over December 3-5.
Australia's 'Wizards of Aus' team from the Scania Australia Prestons dealership in Sydney will be aiming for a 'three-peat' performance in Sweden, having already secured two consecutive victories.
The 2014-2015 Scania Top Team competition has seen over 8000 participants take part from 62 countries.
